Hey JMP fam! I’m so excited to kick off the blog and give everyone a behind-the-scenes look into the world of JMP the Label! For the first official post, I thought it’d be a great chance to introduce a campaign that means so much to us, as a swimwear brand and as individuals. At JMP the Label, we recognize that we play an important role in the conversation about body positivity and self love. Yes, we’re passionate about chasing trends and designing the perfect bikini for your next beach vacation, but we’re even more passionate about creating an inclusive and positive space in the fashion world. For that reason, we’re excited to launch the JMP Suits Me campaign, the movement that’s centered entirely on encouraging and celebrating you, exactly as you are!
The JMP Suits Me campaign goes far beyond just posting pics in your ‘kini! It’s about recognizing the unique beauty in each of us that goes further than just skin deep! In today’s world, loving yourself and being confident is a brave thing to do. We’re bombarded with photoshopped bodies and edited Insta pics every day, and the line between fiction and reality has never been so blurred. And yes, while the fashion industry has made some big strides in the past few years to become more inclusive, there’s still a long way to go. The JMP team is determined to help pave the way to a better future in fashion and swimwear, one that embraces individuality and differences instead of excluding them.
As a brand and a family, we want our customers to know that swimwear is made to fit our bodies, not the other way around.
